AN ACT REQUIRING PARENTAL ATTENDANCE AT HEARINGS ON DELINQUENCY MATTERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the parents of a child who has been adjudicated delinquent to attend any court hearing related to the delinquency, and to make failure to attend such court hearing punishable as contempt.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the parents of a child who has been adjudicated delinquent to attend any court hearing related to the delinquency, and to make failure to attend such court hearing punishable as contempt.
