AN ACT AUTHORIZING A DELAY OF SPECIAL EDUCATION EVALUATIONS IN CERTAIN CASES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-76ff of the general statutes be amended to allow the parents or guardians of a child who is being evaluated to determine if such child requires special education and related services to initiate a delay of such evaluation for good cause.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow parents and guardians to initiate a delay of a special education evaluation for good cause.
