AN ACT CONCERNING LEAVING A CHILD UNSUPERVISED IN A LOCKED MOTOR VEHICLE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 53-21a of the general statutes be amended to allow emergency personnel to take any necessary action to assist a child who is left unsupervised in a motor vehicle for a period of time that presents a substantial risk to the child's health or safety.

Statement of Purpose:
