AN ACT CONCERNING PRIVATE SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. Section 10-66d of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective July 1, 2016):

Each board of education and nonpublic school in the area served by a regional educational service center may determine the particular programs and services, including, but not limited to, transportation services, in which it wishes to participate in accordance with the purpose of this part, except each board of education shall use the uniform regional school calendar in accordance with the provisions of section 10-66q.

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
