AN ACT CONCERNING EDUCATIONAL NEGLECT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require certain Department of Children and Families employees to undergo annual training regarding the acts or omissions that constitute educational neglect. Such training shall be provided by the Office of the Child Advocate and the Department of Education and shall include testimonials from aggrieved parents.
Statement of Purpose:
To require Department of Children and Families employees to receive training regarding acts or omissions that constitute educational neglect.
