AN ACT REFORMING THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING LAND USE APPEALS PROCEDURE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 8-30g of the general statutes be amended to (1) shift the burden of proof in an affordable housing land use appeal to the applicant, or (2) allow a commission to deny or modify an affordable housing application when the development proposed by such application would violate (A) the open space requirements of the municipality, or (B) density regulations.
Statement of Purpose:
To reform the affordable housing land use appeals procedure.
