AN ACT CONCERNING THE EXPANSION OF PASSENGER RAIL SERVICE ON THE WATERBURY BRANCH OF THE METRO NORTH RAILROAD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 13b-79q of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Transportation to increase the number and frequency of trains running on the Waterbury branch line of Metro North, and to add stops in Seymour, Shelton and Derby.
Statement of Purpose:
To expand passenger rail service on the Waterbury branch of the Metro North railroad.
