AN ACT CONCERNING BENEFITS FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS UNDER THE HUSKY PLAN.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 17b-290 of the general statutes be amended to include in the definition of "child", for purposes of the HUSKY program, persons under the age of twenty-three who are enrolled in college courses.

Statement of Purpose:

To extend coverage under the HUSKY plan to certain college students.
