AN ACT CONCERNING THE PLACEMENT OF FOSTER CHILDREN IN PRIVATE HOMES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17a of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Children and Families to reduce the number of group homes and residential facilities housing foster children by one-half and to transfer foster children residing in such homes or facilities to private homes with a foster family.
Statement of Purpose:
