AN ACT CONCERNING THE PAYMENT OF A JUDICIAL PENSION TO A PERSON WHO REENTERS STATE SERVICE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 872 of the general statutes be amended to provide that no person receiving a judicial pension pursuant to said chapter of the general statutes shall receive pension payments while reemployed in state service.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit double-dipping by retired state judges who reenter state service.
