AN ACT PROHIBITING FORMER STATE EMPLOYEES FROM SEEKING, ENTERING INTO OR NEGOTIATING STATE CONTRACTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 10 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit any former state employee from seeking, entering into or negotiating a contract for goods or services with a state agency on such employee's own behalf or on behalf of a partnership, association or professional corporation for three years after leaving state service.

Statement of Purpose:

To prevent former state employees from seeking, entering into or negotiating contracts with a state agency for three years after leaving state service.
