AN ACT EXCLUDING MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENTS FROM THE CALCULATION OF LEGISLATORS' RETIREMENT INCOME.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 66 of the general statutes be amended to exclude reimbursements received by legislators for mileage from the calculations of base salary for purposes of determining legislators' retirement income.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit legislative mileage reimbursements from being included in pension calculations.
