AN ACT CONCERNING THE DUTIES OF LOCAL BUILDING OFFICIALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 29-261 of the general statutes be amended to clarify that the duties of local building officials include ensuring that all inspections are performed by properly qualified and licensed inspectors in accordance with sections 29-262-5b to 29-262-11b, inclusive, of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies.
Statement of Purpose:
To clarify the duties of local building officials and ensure that all inspections are performed by properly qualified inspectors.
