AN ACT CONCERNING THE MEMBERSHIP OF LEGISLATIVE WORKING GROUPS AND TASK FORCES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2018) Notwithstanding any provision of the general statutes or any public or special act, the membership of any legislative working group or task force shall include the member of the General Assembly who proposed the legislation that created such working group or task force. Notwithstanding any provision of the general statutes or any public or special act, no such working group or task force shall have a quorum to conduct business unless such proponent is in attendance at any meeting of such working group or task force.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections: | ||

Statement of Purpose:
To require the proponent of any legislative working group or task force to be an active participant of such working group or task force.
