AN ACT RESTRICTING PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO A SINGLE SUBJECT MATTER.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 16 of the general statutes be amended to require legislative bills to be limited to a single subject matter.

Statement of Purpose:

To allow the public to have a better understanding of proposed legislation by requiring bills to address only one subject matter.
