AN ACT REQUIRING APPLICANTS OF ELECTRIC GENERATION, TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES TO PERFORM ENERGY ANALYSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That titles 16 and 16a of the general statutes be amended to require each applicant for an electric generation, transmission or distribution facility to perform net energy and energy profit and greenhouse gas production analyses as part of the application process.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide analytical tools to assist in minimizing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
