AN ACT CONCERNING CURRICULUM REVIEWS OF UNDERPERFORMING SCHOOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 170 of the general statutes be amended to require local and regional boards of education with schools that are educating students at a grade level at least two levels below that of the highest performing school in the state to submit to a curriculum review by the Department of Education.
Statement of Purpose:
To make failing and low performing schools more accountable.
