AN ACT CONCERNING INACCESSIBLE ASSETS IN MEDICAID ELIGIBILITY DETERMINATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 17b-261a of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Social Services to define as inaccessible for Medicaid purposes those assets not actually available to a Medicaid applicant for liquidation on the date the department determines Medicaid eligibility.
Statement of Purpose:
To define inaccessible assets for Medicaid eligibility purposes.
