AN ACT REQUIRING THE JOINT STANDING COMMITTEE OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY HAVING COGNIZANCE OF MATTERS RELATING TO THE ENVIRONMENT TO DEVELOP DEFINITIONS AND STANDARDS RELATING TO THE ADOPTION OF STREAMFLOW REGULATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to the environment to develop definitions and standards for the adoption of streamflow regulations pursuant to section 26-141b of the general statutes.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide direction to the Department of Environmental Protection in their adoption of streamflow regulations.
