AN ACT CONCERNING SLOPE FAILURES TO IMPROVED PROPERTIES CAUSED BY COASTAL EROSION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 22a-92 of the general statutes be amended to authorize owners of improved real property that is adjacent to coastal or tidal waters to protect their property from erosion and slope failures by constructing structural solutions when necessary and unavoidable for the protection of the improved property.
Statement of Purpose:
To broaden the nature of properties that may erect structural solutions in order to protect said property from erosion and eventual slope failure.
