AN ACT CONCERNING VETERANS WHO SERVED IN THE NATIONAL GUARD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2014) The Commissioner of Veterans' Affairs, in consultation with the Adjutant General, shall conduct a study of services that are not available to veterans who served in the National Guard. Such study shall include consideration of the need for such services, the obstacles to providing them and possible ways to facilitate their provision. The study shall also list any statutory or regulatory changes necessary to establish recommended services.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections: | ||

Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that veterans who served in the National Guard are receiving all benefits that are needed by them.
