AN ACT ELIMINATING GRANTS FROM THE CITIZENS' ELECTION FUND FOR CANDIDATES WHO ARE UNOPPOSED.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 157 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the granting of funds under the Citizens' Election Program to the candidate committees of unopposed candidates.
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate grants for unopposed candidates under the Citizens' Election Program.
