AN ACT PROTECTING CHILDREN FROM IDENTITY THEFT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 36a-701a of the general statutes be amended to allow for the placement of a security freeze on any credit report or file for a minor.

Statement of Purpose:

To protect children from identity theft.
