AN ACT CONCERNING VIRTUAL NET METERING FOR CERTAIN FARMS AND AGRICULTURAL FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow commonly owned or operated farm or agricultural facilities to engage in virtual net metering, crediting the energy produced by a farm methane resource to any meter associated with such facilities.
Statement of Purpose:
To facilitate the development of farm methane resources by allowing farm operations to engage in virtual net metering.
