AN ACT CONCERNING APPRENTICE HIRING RATIOS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to change the allowable hiring ratio regarding apprentices, journeymen and contractors to five apprentices for each journeyman or contractor.

Statement of Purpose:

To increase apprenticeship opportunities in the state by allowing each journeyman or contractor to hire up to five apprentices.
