AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF GENERALLY ACCEPTED ACCOUNTING PRINCIPLES (GAAP) BY THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 3-115b of the general statutes be amended to require that the Comptroller and the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management adopt generally accepted accounting principles in the preparation and maintenance of the annual financial statements of the state and the preparation of the annual budget of the state.
