AN ACT EXEMPTING CERTAIN ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY PERSONNEL FROM DELINQUENT TAX PENALTIES AND INTEREST.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to exempt members of the armed forces from delinquent tax penalties and interest while such members are on active duty outside the United States.

Statement of Purpose:

To eliminate certain hardships faced by members of the armed forces on active duty.
