AN ACT CONCERNING THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF NEW HAVEN.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to allow the Housing Authority of New Haven to offer four rental units to those individuals returning from prison, provided said individuals (1) have completed one or more years of postsecondary coursework, (2) have excelled academically in such coursework, and (3) have a plan to earn a bachelor's degree.

Statement of Purpose:

To expand the Housing Authority of New Haven as part of New Haven's Project Fresh Start Reentry Program.
