AN ACT EXPANDING ANGEL INVESTOR CREDITS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 12-704d of the general statutes be amended to allow investments in any type of business, in addition to businesses engaged in bioscience and other emerging technologies.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide incentives for private investment in Connecticut businesses by allowing investments in any Connecticut business to qualify for an angel investor tax credit.
