AN ACT CONCERNING THE SALE OF CANDY IN PUBLIC SCHOOL VENDING MACHINES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit each public elementary, middle and high school from selling candy from a vending machine located within the school.
Statement of Purpose:
To help control obesity among public school students by prohibiting the sale of candy from vending machines located in schools.
