AN ACT CONCERNING INCOME TAX REFUNDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow taxpayers to receive income tax refunds either in the form of a check or debit card, as indicated by the taxpayer in a check box on the tax return form.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow taxpayers the option as to form of payment of their state income tax refund.
