AN ACT EXEMPTING THE UNITED STATES PROBATION OFFICE FROM THE REQUIREMENT TO PAY FOR CERTIFIED COPIES OF CRIMINAL RECORDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 52-259a of the general statutes be amended to provide that the United States Probation Office shall not be required to pay a fee for a certified copy of a criminal record.
Statement of Purpose:
To include the United States Probation Office in the list of United States agencies exempt from paying a fee for a certified copy of a criminal record.
