AN ACT CONCERNING CONSENSUS REVENUE ESTIMATES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That sections 2-36b and 2-36c of the general statutes be amended to require the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management and the director of the legislative Office of Fiscal Analysis to (1) issue the consensus revenue estimate for the current biennium and the next ensuing three fiscal years not later than October fifteenth of each year, and (2) submit such estimate to the Appropriations and Finance committees to meet on such estimate not later than October thirty-first of each year.

Statement of Purpose:

To require earlier submission of consensus revenue estimates.
