AN ACT CONCERNING ELIMINATING DOUBLE CHILD CARE SUBSIDIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 17b-749 of the 2014 supplement to the general statutes be amended to prevent retroactive awards of child care subsidies from the Department of Social Services to foster or adoptive families who received child care subsidies from the Department of Children and Families during the same time period.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent waste and abuse and promote fairness in the distribution of child care subsidies.
