Substitute Senate Bill No. 116
AN ACT CONCERNING A STATE MILITARY ACCOUNT FOR MORALE, WELFARE AND RECREATION PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective July 1, 2012) There is established an account to be known as the "Army National Guard state morale, welfare and recreation account" which shall be a separate, nonlapsing account within the General Fund. The account shall contain any moneys required by law to be deposited in the account, which shall include, but not be limited to, proceeds of state military morale, welfare and recreation programs. Moneys in the account shall be expended by the Adjutant General for the purposes of operating state military morale, welfare and recreation programs.
