AN ACT CONCERNING RIBBONS AND MEDALS FOR MEMBERS OF THE MERCHANT MARINE WHO SERVED IN TIME OF WAR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 27-73e of the general statutes be amended to provide that the Adjutant General shall award a ribbon and medal to each member of the United States Merchant Marine, as defined in section 9-25a of the general statutes, who served in time of war, and who (1) was a resident of this state at the time he or she entered service with the merchant marine, or (2) is domiciled in this state on the date of such award.
Statement of Purpose:
To award a ribbon and medal to each resident of Connecticut who served in time of war as a member of the merchant marine.
