AN ACT PERMITTING THE INSTALLATION OF SECURITY CAMERAS BY UNIT OWNERS IN COMMON INTEREST COMMUNITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 47-261b of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the association of a common interest community from adopting or enforcing any rule that prevents a unit owner from installing a security camera to the exterior of his or her condominium unit.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that a condominium unit owner is able to install an external security camera to his or her condominium unit.
