AN ACT CONCERNING THE ASSESSMENT OF PROPERTIES LISTED ON A MULTIPLE-LISTING SERVICE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize municipal tax assessors to enter a residence listed on a multiple-listing service for the purpose of obtaining a current assessment of such property.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide potential homeowners with an accurate estimate of the property taxes on a residence listed for sale on a multiple-listing service.
