AN ACT IMPOSING A MORATORIUM ON NEW, UNFUNDED MUNICIPAL MANDATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to impose a three-year delay on the implementation of any unfunded municipal mandate enacted after January 1, 2011.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide municipal relief from new, unfunded mandates for three years after passage.
