AN ACT REQUIRING FIREARM SAFETY COURSES TO BE CONDUCTED AND ATTENDED IN PERSON.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That sections 29-28, 29-36f and 29-37p of the general statutes be amended to require that all components of a course in the safety and use of firearms be conducted and attended in person.
Statement of Purpose:
To require that any applicant for a firearm permit receive hands-on practice in the use of firearms.
