AN ACT CONCERNING THE DELAY OF THE IN-SCHOOL SUSPENSION MANDATE AND STATE-PROVIDED FUNDING FOR THE IN-SCHOOL SUSPENSION MANDATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (g) of section 10-233c of the general statutes be amended to delay the implementation of the in-school suspension requirement until on or after July 1, 2014, unless the state provides grants to municipalities to cover the entire cost of implementing the requirement.
Statement of Purpose:
To delay the implementation of the in-school suspension requirement until July 1, 2014, unless the state provides grants to towns for the full cost of the requirement.
