AN ACT CONCERNING THE REDEMPTION OF BEVERAGE CONTAINERS UNDER THE BOTTLE BILL.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 446d of the general statutes be amended to require retailers to accept all beverage containers subject to the deposit rather than just those sold by the retailer.

Statement of Purpose:

To allow for the return of all deposit bottles at a retailer rather than just those sold by the retailer.
