AN ACT CONCERNING THE RECORDING OF POLICE ACTIVITY BY THE PUBLIC.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that a peace officer who interferes with any person's attempt to record the activities of another peace officer in the performance of such peace officer's duties shall be held civilly liable to the person.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect the right of an individual to record peace officers in the performance of their duties.
