AN ACT ELIMINATING PERSONAL INCOME TAXATION ON PENSION AND SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the personal income tax on pension and Social Security benefits.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide tax relief to retirees and seniors by exempting pension and Social Security benefits from the personal income tax.
