AN ACT CONCERNING IMPLEMENTATION OF THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE AUDITORS OF PUBLIC ACCOUNTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 23 of the general statutes be amended to establish a process and deadlines for any legislative or state agency action necessary to implement any recommendations of the Auditors of Public Accounts contained in the reports submitted to the General Assembly or the Legislative Program Review and Investigations Committee by the Auditors of Public Accounts.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that any recommendations of the Auditors of Public Accounts contained in reports submitted to the General Assembly are implemented within a reasonable time.
