AN ACT CONCERNING AN EXEMPTION FROM PERSONAL INCOME TAX FOR SOCIAL SECURITY PAYMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to exempt Social Security payments from taxation.
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt Social Security payments from taxation under the state income tax.
