AN ACT CONCERNING SMART GROWTH AND JOB CREATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to coordinate new and existing economic development initiatives with state-wide planning for town and city growth and agricultural and open space preservation, including, but not limited to, state-wide planning objectives concerning the environment, transportation and agriculture.

Statement of Purpose:

To align economic development efforts with state-wide planning objectives for municipal growth and agricultural and open space preservation.
