AN ACT CONCERNING CERTAIN PARCELS IN THE TOWN OF EAST HARTFORD.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That subsection (b) of section 9 of special act 15-1 be amended to permit the town of East Hartford to (1) use certain parcels of land conveyed to it by the Commissioner of Transportation for municipal or economic development purposes, and (2) sell or lease such parcels of land for municipal or economic development purposes for an amount at least equal to the administrative costs of making the conveyance or lease if such conveyance or lease is made for municipal purposes or to facilitate an economic development project approved by the legislative body of the town of East Hartford, and such administrative costs are approved by such legislative body.

Statement of Purpose:

To permit the town of East Hartford to use certain parcels for municipal or economic development purposes and to sell or lease such parcels for an amount at least equal to the administrative cost of the conveyance or lease.
