AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF MOTOR VEHICLE REGISTRATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the Department of Motor Vehicles study issues regarding motor vehicle registration, including general compliance with the provisions of section 14-12 of the general statutes that require a resident of this state who operates a motor vehicle that he or she owns with names plates issued be another state to register such motor vehicle with the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles within sixty days of becoming a resident, and report on the results of such study to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to transportation.

To study issues regarding motor vehicle registration.
