AN ACT PERMITTING THE DELEGATION OF MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION BY A REGISTERED NURSE TO EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 19a-492e of the general statutes be amended to allow a registered nurse to delegate the administration of medication to an emergency medical technician who has received training in the administration of medication.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the number of individuals available to administer medication.
